drop into the light
from spiritual catharsis to profound introspection, a psilocybin journey allows us to reclaim those lost parts of ourselves and move through the world with confidence and grace
Psilocybin therapy is for everyone—the dreamer, the skeptic, the student, and all of us in between.
the student
In clinical studies, involving debilitating conditions like addiction and depression, psilocybin therapy has shown exceptional promise and consistently outperformed conventional treatments.
Here’s a link to a nice round up of the studies on addiction disorder.
the skeptic
It’s not all ineffable moments and vague notions of cosmic awe. Multiple research studies reveal that psilocybin ignites underused neural pathways and neutralizes certain parts of our brain that discourage neuroplasticity.

the dreamer
Plant medicine hands us the universe. The experience is so powerful that we often leave our sessions in a state of spiritual catharsis.
little old me
Arlo, PDX
A farm kid from the dirt roads of New England, I treat plant medicine with radical humility and empathy.
In my 42 years on the planet, I’ve worked as a professor, journalist, translator, bartender, cook, farmhand, creative director, counselor, case manager, Fulbright scholar and semi-professional soccer player.
I received my facilitator certificate from Innertrek in pdx and outside of the psychedelic sphere, I lead workshops that dwell at the intersection of wellness and art and actively mentor writers, musicians and visual artists.
I’m a strong proponent of deliberate and comprehensive preparation and consider this process just as sacred as the medicine session itself. After the journey, we’ll work together to uncover and focus the lessons from the trip—through a creative and artistic lens—and craft a plan to integrate this experience into your daily routine.
“Arlo was all I could have wanted in a facilitator…well prepared, kind and well connected during the session. His attention and focus were unwavering and he was fluid in offering all kinds of support, sitting, talking, walking, visualizing, all of it. He also has some unique creative practices and activities he brings to preparation and integration. It was smooth and I felt seen and held, highly recommended.”— J from Portland, OR

Contrary to those swirling rumors, psilocybin therapy is not doing mushrooms locked in a room while doctors in lab coats prod you with sticks.
Psilocybin therapy involves three specific stages: preparation, the journey itself and integration.
During preparation, we ready ourselves for the journey, lean into wellness rituals and sharpen our intentions for the experience.
The journey takes place within an Oregon-certified psilocybin center in a thoughtfully curated room. Eyemasks and headphones are provided as most clients are encouraged to go inward. It generally lasts for 5-6 hours.
After the medicine session, you'll connect the dots of your experience with your facilitator during 1v1 integration sessions.
-
I offer holistic support, which includes one screening call, two comprehensive preparation sessions, the guiding of the journey itself and two integration sessions--one 48-72 hours after your journey and another 3 weeks later.
-
Your journey will unfold within a state-certified psilocybin center.
Currently, I work in Hood River and Portland, and have great relationships with these incredible service centers.
Vital Reset (Hood River)
Project Circle (SE Portland)
Chariot (NW Portland)

No Oregon. No problem. We'll just adjust our standard protocol. Your initial preparation sessions will be done via video chat as will your second integration session.
When traveling to Oregon for treatment, you should give yourself 4-5 days minimum. You'll need 2 days after the journey to recuperate before departing back home.
-
In general, you can expect to pay about $1,500 - $3,000 total for holistic psilocybin therapy.
Keep in mind, a session in Oregon generally includes 2 distinct payments. First, you'll pay the center directly to reserve a space for the day ($500 - $900) and for the mushrooms themselves ($100 - $200).
Secondly, you'll pay a facilitator like me to guide you through the whole process.
My rate for the services quoted in the questions above—1 introductory call, 2 rigorous prep sessions, the mushroom journey and two integration sessions, including one 3 weeks after the experience—is $1250.
I am open to a sliding scale ($800 minimum) for folks who need support. If you have ample savings and can afford to take vacations, I ask you to pay full price for my services.
Fortunately, some centers offer equity journeys and there are a handful of scholarships out there too.
